Filandia is renowned for its colonial architecture, colorful houses, and traditional balconies, which reflect the cultural heritage of the Coffee Cultural Landscape.
Wickerwork and other handicrafts are an essential part of its cultural identity, made by local artisans who keep traditions alive.
The Bremen Reserve has an ecosystem of low montane rainforest and very humid premontane forest, characterized by epiphytes, mosses, lichens, vines, bromeliads, and orchids. The area is home to mammals such as howler monkeys (Alouatta spp.), as well as other species of mammals, reptiles, and amphibians typical of the Andean forest.
Itinerary:
8:00 am. You will meet your driver.
8:00 am to 9:00 am. You will travel by vehicle to the Bremen Reserve, where you will meet your guide.
9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. You will hike through the reserve and your guide will provide you with a great environmental interpretation of the area.
12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. You will travel by vehicle to Filandia Quindío.
12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. You will tour the picturesque streets of Filandia.
1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. You will have lunch (not included).
2:00 p.m. The activity ends and you will return to the hotel.
